Student Life is very important to USG and one of our main goals, in addition to providing Academic support, is to foster a sense of community here at Stony Brook. Student Life as also about giving students a variety of choices to occupy their time that is not spent on Academics, your number one priority will attending Stony Brook University. From discounted LIRR tickets to spend a day in the city, to discounted movie tickets, to all of the clubs and organizations Stony Brook has to offer, there is something for everybody and every student should get involved to enhance their student experience.

This year, in order to address student concerns and to work together to further improve student life at Stony Brook, the first ever Student Life Council has been established.
